Colin Dean, AIA has been chosen as AIA Eugene's Director-Elect. Colin is an Architect at Rowell Brokaw Architects in Eugene.
Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, he graduated from the University of Oregon having received a Bachelor of Architecture (BArch) degree with a second major in political science. He was an intern architect at Callison in Seattle and, following a move to Portland, he received initial licensure while at Myhre Group Architects. Colin later practiced at Ankrom Moisan Architects and most recently at Kistler Small + White Architects in Ashland. As an AIA member since entering the profession, Colin has been actively involved with AIA Seattle, AIA Portland, and AIA Southern Oregon.
His leadership experience within the organization includes serving as President-Elect of the (former) AIA Southern Oregon chapter and later as a board member of the AIA Southern Oregon section. Colin is excited to join the AIA Eugene leadership in advocating for our profession by engaging in policy-making, promoting community building, and elevating member services.
