YGH has been providing integrated architecture, interior design, and planning services to public and private clients worldwide since 1964. From our single Portland office we have developed projects throughout the U.S. as well as on nearly every continent in the world. While this work is diverse - ranging from corporate headquarters and commercial facilities to university buildings, recreation centers and housing developments - our projects share a unifying theme: design that is in harmony with the community setting, client values and user needs.
The recently opened Marine Studies Initiative Building at Oregon State University's Hatfield Marine Science Center in Newport was recently named Project of the Year at the ACEC Oregon Engineering Excellence Awards. Current and recent projects also include the OSU Magruder Hall Renovation and Addition; Port of Portland PDX Operations Center and PACR Design-Build project; U.S. State Dept Federal Classroom and Training Facility; Standard Insurance Tower Renovations; Best Western Hood River Inn Conference Center Addition; Newport Performing Arts Center Expansion; Clark College Tod and Maxine McClaskey Culinary Institute Renovation.
