About AIA Oregon:

We're the Oregon Chapter of the American Institute of Architects, empowering over 1600 architects and allied professionals across the state. We champion design excellence, advocate for architects' interests, and equip our members with cutting-edge resources and a supportive community.

Own Your Impact:

As our Member Recruitment & Retention Manager, you'll be the designer of AIA Oregon's membership growth strategy. Craft initiatives that attract new talent, engage existing members, and cultivate a sense of belonging for all.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Strategize & Analyze: Design data-driven recruitment and retention plans, leveraging insights to maximize impact.

  • Targeted Outreach: Craft compelling marketing campaigns that resonate with potential and current members.

  • Warm Welcome: Oversee the onboarding process, ensuring a smooth and positive introduction to AIA Oregon.

  • Nurturing Relationships: Foster connections through events, programs, and personalized communication, keeping members engaged and valued.

  • Member Advocate: Proactively address member concerns, ensuring their satisfaction and long-term commitment.

  • Team Player: Collaborate with AIA Oregon staff and committees to achieve shared membership goals.

Who You Are:

  • A bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business administration, or a related field is your foundation.

  • You thrive in the world of membership, with at least 3 years of proven success in recruitment and retention, ideally within professional associations or non-profits.

  • Your track record speaks volumes – past achievements in campaign development and implementation are a must.

  • Data analysis is your superpower, and you wield it with expertise to inform strategic decisions.

  • Communication is your art form – you write persuasively and connect authentically with diverse audiences.

  • Building relationships is your forte – you foster trust and collaboration with ease.

  • You can work independently, and reliably, either in person, or remotely.

  • You are willing to travel around the state periodically to meet members, staff events, and provide updates to the Board of Directors.
