50 small firm state representatives needed
The national Small Firm Exchange (SFx) is beginning to work on its 2023 call for applications. A position description and process for selection are being drafted for a July 1 distribution. At that time, each state CACE leader will receive an email from me outlining SFx’s process and inviting you to communicate your needs and preferences. You’re invited to Mission 2130
The Young Architects forum (YAF) is hosting Mission 2130 on August 25-27, 2022, in Pittsburgh. Mission 2130 is the 30th anniversary summit for the YAF and seeks to explore what the profession will look like in 100 years. Accepted attendees are fully funded to attend the event. Submissions are due June 19, 2022, at 11:59pm EST.

2022 AIA Upjohn Research Initiative grant funding
The Upjohn grants annually funds up to six research grants of $15,000-$30,000 per recipient for projects completed in a 6- to 18-month period. Upjohn Research grant funding will be allocated to projects related to the priorities outlined in AIA’s Climate Action Plan and AIA’s Strategic Plan. Submissions are due September 1, 2022.
