Reimagining the Lane County Fairgrounds property
County Commissioner David Loveall is interested in engaging the local design professional community for a brainstorm about how the Lane County Fairgrounds property could be reimagined for housing and local community needs if the Fairgrounds themselves were to be relocated. Please note that Dave has communicated that he is hoping for visioning to inspire others to see what is possible if the town could follow through on putting our idealistic words into physical form, not looking for an actionable master plan or any actionable item usable for real world purposes on a future project.
Join us Wednesday May 17th at 11:30 -1pm at Harris Hall, located within the Public Service Bld at 125 8th Avenue to hear from Commissioner Loveall about how the local design community can help residents envision a future which meets the aspirational goals of our town and to possibly organize teams for a future charette/workshop to create a design for all or a portion of the 52 acre site.
No food is allowed in the space, lunch will not be provided - please plan accordingly. Please RSVP so we know the approximate number of attendees to expect.
