Session 3:
Designing Places That Create Belonging

Healthy, resilient communities are those where people feel connected, valued, and invested in a shared future. This session explores how equity, cultural identity, indigenous knowledge, inclusive engagement, and economic opportunity contribute to long-term resilience and stronger recovery outcomes. Through examples from Oregon and beyond, participants will examine how community trust, local stewardship, and inclusive prosperity can strengthen both social and physical resilience.
