Mr. Richey has over thirty years diversified design experience in healthcare facilities, office buildings, educational, institutional, commercial and residential projects. He has been recognized with local, regional and national awards for his design work. His "team approach" to fulfilling the client's program requirements includes the collaboration of engineering and other selected consultants at the earliest phases of the design process. All projects are developed using computer-aided design and drafting to model conceptual designs and produce construction documents.

Mr. Richey is a native Oregonian from the small historic community of Brockway. His special interests in historic vernacular architecture and energy conservation have led to many unique projects, from teaching passive solar design classes to recording historic buildings by means of measured drawings. He has also participated in an annual six week Architect-in-Residence program with students in Rogue Valley elementary schools. Community service has included serving as a Board Member for the Ashland Art Center, an Advisory Board Member for the Schneider Museum of Art and a "Volunteer of the Year" Award from Pacific Non-Profit Network.
