Remembering Adrienne

Adrienne Suzanne Morris (February 8th, 1992 - January 1st, 2026)

Born in Astoria, OR, Adrienne was a big part of AIA Portland (Oregon) for nearly 8 years as Director of Technology & Innovation. While managing communications, graphics, exhibits, and all things technology, she was also an integral part of the Architecture Awards, Design Conferences, and Homes Tours, and events at the Center For Architecture were a pure delight due to her mastery at putting together the best charcuterie boards. Her skill and creativity made her great at her job, but it was her huge heart that made her a special part of the AIA Portland (Oregon) community. Adrienne made everyone she met feel included, accepted, and understood - her friends called it her "superpower." Whether you met her online as an open invite to see a band she loved, at a music venue, hiking, traveling or had the pleasure of working with her, she had a talent of making everyone feel special. It is with tremendous sadness and a heavy heart that friends and family say goodbye to Adrienne.
