Theme: Creating Community

AIA Oregon invites you to submit a proposal to present at the 2026 AIA Oregon Design Conference (ODC 26)—the only statewide conference dedicated to the professional development of architects and built environment designers in Oregon.

At AIA Oregon, we believe the communities we create matter—and that they are strongest when they are created intentionally, together. ODC 26 is a space for shared learning, honest dialogue, and collective action. By presenting, you help shape the conversation for architects across Oregon who are working to create a more resilient, equitable, and connected future for our state.

What’s in it for you?
As a presenter, you will influence practice, policy, and perspective through the only statewide organization working to educate architects and built environment designers to better serve Oregon’s communities. Your voice helps set priorities, elevate ideas, and strengthen the profession’s collective impact.

Submission Timeline

  • Submission deadline: March 31, 2026

  • Notification of decision: April 24, 2026 (approved), May

  • Final materials due: May 27, 2026

  • Conference dates: September 23–25, 2026

Presentation materials may be shared online following the conference to extend learning statewide.

Expo Booths Available

We invite you to be part of this year’s Oregon Design Conference as an exhibitor on our expo floor.

At our last conference, our exhibitors reported at 80% lead rate and 60% reported multiple leads from their participation.

The conference is one of the few moments every other year when the entire Oregon design community gathers in one place; firm leaders, emerging professionals, and decision-makers from across the state will be there. It’s an opportunity to connect face-to-face, build relationships, and showcase the products and expertise that support great design.

The expo floor is intentionally integrated into the conference experience to encourage meaningful interaction rather than pass-by traffic. We want our exhibitors to be part of the conversation, not just observers on the sidelines.
