Corey Squire Receives AIA Young Architect Award

The American Institute of Architects (AIA) has announced its 2025 Young Architect Award winners, and AIA Oregon is thrilled to celebrate one of our own! Congratulations to Corey Squire, AIA Portland member and at-large member of the AIA’s Strategic Council. He is currently Sustainability Director at Bora Architecture & Interiors in Portland and previously served on the National Committee on the Environment (COTE) Leadership Group, where he co-created the AIA’s Framework for Design Excellence.

Corey is also the author of the book People, Planet, Design: A Practical Guide to Realizing Architecture’s Potential, available from Island Press.

Congratulations to Corey, and to the other Young Architects recognized for their exceptional leadership and significant contributions to the architecture profession.

AIA Oregon members attending the AIA25 conference in Boston are invited to a special Board of Directors meeting on May 9th, from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM (PT) via Teams. This is a unique opportunity to hear from candidates for national AIA office, engage in a Q&A session with chapter leadership on upcoming AIA business meeting items, and learn how to become a certified delegate, enabling you to vote on behalf of AIA Oregon members.
