Jared N. Zurn, AIA, NCARB, CAE, serves as the Chief Programs Officer and is responsible for monitoring progress, evaluating program outcomes, and implementing data-driven improvements to maximize impact. Zurn ensures that all initiatives are aligned with NCARB's strategic objectives, delivering greater value to members and stakeholders and increasing the speed and effectiveness of program implementation. He is a key voice in shaping NCARB's future direction, ensuring that our programs are at the forefront of advancing our mission and vision.
Zurn has been influential at NCARB since 2008. He has been involved in exam development and evolution spanning three versions of the Architect Registration Examination overseeing all aspects of exam development, operations, and security. During his tenure, Jared led the introduction of online proctored testing and has conducted comprehensive research into exam fairness and the impact of examination policies and content on candidate performance.
