We still hear it from time to time. "Hey, what is AIA Eugene up to these days?" "Why don't we ever get together anymore?" "Is AIA Eugene still a thing?" Well, don't forget AIA Eugene is YOU!
Be sure to sign up for our Eugene Section meeting next Wednesday, April 19, where you will hear from a few members of AIA Eugene leadership on what is going on in the section and will have the chance to find out what's coming up and how to be more involved.
Also, please come prepared with any lingering questions about the AIA-SWO transition to AIAO and how the transition on the local and national levels affects your membership.
Planned presentations include an update on the AIA National Board and the new Strategic Council planning by our very own Curt Wilson who is a member of the Strategic Council, as well as a report on the 2023 AIA Leadership Summit in Washington DC, by Section Director Rex Prater. New HQ Task Force member Bill Seider will also be available to answer questions about the status of the search for the new HQ(s).
Besides wine, there will be beer and some non-alcoholic beverage options. Limited snacks will be available at the venue. Outside food is allowed, but no outside drinks. The Wheel Apizza Pub next door provides delivery to HQ free of charge.
