Young Architects Forum: The Young Architects Forum (YAF), a program of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and the College of Fellows (COF), is organized to address issues of particular importance to recently licensed architects.
LICENSURE

National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB): Programs and services to support architects and architectural candidates pursuing licensure.

Architectural Experience Program (AXP): Required by most U.S. licensing boards, AXP guides you through the process of earning and reporting professional experience.
Tools and Resources for AXP Mentors Some resources to guide mentors through supervising a candidate.
Architect Registration Examination (ARE): Required by all U.S. licensing boards, the exam features six divisions and focuses on health, safety, and welfare in architectural practice.
Chris White/AIA Oregon Scholarship for Emerging Professionals The Chris White Scholarship for Emerging Professionals is an annual award up to $1,000 per recipient to one or more selected first-time architecture license candidates in Oregon through application and committee review.
AIA Oregon General Reference & ARE Prep Libraries: Thanks to generous grants from local architects and the College of Fellows, each AIA Oregon section maintains a Lending Library dedicated to AIA Oregon members.
