Sara Bergby, AIA

Chair, Emerging Professionals

Sara graduated from California Polytechnic State University San Luis Obispo in 2007 and has worked on commercial and residential projects in California, Oregon, Washington, and Texas. She joined the AIA and obtained her architect’s license in Oregon in early 2017. Her commercial experience focused primarily on medical, dental, office, and public works projects, and her residential involvement spanned single family, townhomes, and multi-family projects.

Though her experience in the 15+ years that she has been employed in the architecture field involved a mix of those project types, she recently made a shift in her career to focus exclusively on residential design, and is excited to become more directly involved in the Central Oregon architecture community as chair of the Bend Section’s Emerging Professionals Committee.
